The best (and easiest) focaccia ever.

My first time ever making focaccia today and I can tell you, it was a game changer! The house was filled with the smell of freshly baked bread with a hint of rosemary this morning and it was just the best. I thought making focaccia was going to be way harder than it was, but after I read the glowing reviews on Bon Appetit for this recipe, I thought I would give it a go. I'll link the recipe here, where Bon Appetit have a nifty recipe page for this with videos demonstrating all the steps and techniques, in a way that is easy to understand.

Bon Appetit just make this version of focaccia plain, seasoned with sea salt and a heavenly garlic butter glaze. I added some chopped rosemary on top of mine and it was super. Other recommendations to add would be some olives, sun dried tomatoes, feta or dukkah as a topping or into the mix.

My biggest tips for making this is to allow enough rising time for the raw dough and to not be shy on the amount of butter and olive oil needed. Be liberal with this.

I hope you have as much fun making this as I do, especially when you get to make all the focaccia dimples in the raw dough. So fun!
