I am proud to be able to offer high quality, client focussed nutrition care for people living with disabilities and complex co-morbidities. As a mobile dietitian within the Cassowary Coast region, consultations can be organised at a client’s home or elsewhere in the community (eg. at a cafe). Telehealth services are available for all clients locally and Australia wide.

Please note that LauraNuu Nutrition is an unregistered NDIS provider and therefore can only accept referrals for self or plan managed clients. Services cannot be provided to NDIA managed clients.

NDIS Services & Pricing

Pricing is in alignment with the latest NDIS Pricing Arrangements & Price Limits 2024-25.

LauraNuu Nutrition supports the following funding types:

  • Core Supports: 01_760_0128_3_3 (Assessment Recommendation Therapy or Training Supports - Dietitian).

  • Capacity Building

    • Improved Daily Living: 15_062_0128_3_3 (Assessment Recommendation Therapy or Training - Dietitian).

    • Improved Health and Well Being: 12_025_0128_3_3 (Advice provided by a Dietitian on managing diet for health and well-being).

For NDIS participants who are under 7 years of age:

  • Core Supports: 01_760_0118_1_3 (Assessment Recommendation Therapy or Training Supports - Dietitian).

  • Capacity Building

    • Improved Daily Living: 15_005_0118_1_3 (Early Childhood Supports - Early Childhood Professional, Other Professional).

    • Improved Health and Well Being: 12_025_0128_3_3 (Advice provided by a Dietitian on managing diet for health and well-being).

Ensuring NDIS participant safety is of upmost importance to us.

Laura upholds the following checks:

  • Yellow Card/NDIS Worker Screening (Exp Aug 2027)

  • Blue Card (Exp Aug 2027)

  • Police Checks

  • Up to date vaccination records.

Funding Types

  • In a nutrition consultation you can expect the following:

    Initial Consultation: $193.99/hr

    • Complete nutrition assessment which may include: body measurements/anthropometric information (if relevant), information regarding current/past medical and medication history (if relevant), information regarding past & current dietary habits/patterns/skills & knowledge.

    • Collaboratively setting nutrition goals & strategies in alignment with your own personal needs.

    • 1.5hrs are allocated for initial consultations to ensure comprehensive care.

    Review Consultation: $140/hr

    • Following up progress regarding nutrition goals and strategies initiated at the initial consultation.

    • I will work with you and your care team to adjust to your needs. We can utilise this time to celebrate any wins (big or small) and/or make any adjustments to the strategies we have initiated previously.

    • 45 minutes to 1hr are allocated to review consultations.

    Consultation fees include assessment, treatment and clinical notes. If provider travel is required to meet a participant in their location, a fee is issued (please see below for more information).

  • Meal planning can be confusing and overwhelming with so many options and processes to consider. Input and collaboration with a dietitian can help take the stress out of this process by making sure that your meal plan is not only delicious but suited to your skills, knowledge and health goals.

    Fee: $140/hr.

  • Dietitians working with NDIS participants may be requested to supply a report to the participant demonstrating achieved outcomes. This may be requested near a plan re assessment or at least annually for participants under 7 years of age.

    After a full nutrition assessment (any any subsequent reviews) we are able to detail (but not limited to) in the report:

    • How dietetic input and any medical nutrition therapy provided has helped or will help the participant work towards their goals.

    • Any barriers encountered any the strategies implemented to resolve these.

    • Advocacy and justification for any recommendations for additional reasonable and necessary supports you may require.

    • Advocacy of your nutritional needs to help you build capacity and independence in your daily life.

    Fee: $140/hr

Provider Travel Fees

Provider travel fees may apply to your location - this is dependent on what zone you live in. Travel is charged at the same hourly rate as the type of service provided for each appointment. Fees are subject to change as per indexations of NDIS fees. The aforementioned is as per NDIS Pricing Arrangements & Price Limits 2024-25.
